Financial Statements

Hospital Financial Statements Project

This project is an Excel-based financial assignment completed in my Health Finance and Budgeting course for a Hospital. It includes the preparation of a balance sheet, statement of operations, and statement of net assets. The project demonstrates how healthcare organizations use financial statements to evaluate overall financial health and manage resources effectively.

What I learned

Through this assignment, I developed a strong understanding of how key financial statements, including the balance sheet, statement of operations, and statement of net assets, work together to reflect the financial position of a healthcare organization. I learned how hospitals track assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses to make informed financial decisions. This project significantly improved my proficiency in Excel and gave me hands-on experience organizing and analyzing financial data. It also increased my confidence in my ability to understand and apply healthcare financial concepts in real-world settings, as it reinforced everything I learned throughout the course.
