Student Organizations
As Co-Founder and President of the first IMAN chapter at IU Indianapolis, I led the development and growth of a student advocacy organization focused on civic engagement and policy awareness. I recruited and managed a 12-member executive board, organized voter outreach initiatives, and coordinated a panel with local leaders. I also testified at the Indiana Statehouse on student voter ID rights. This leadership role strengthened my public speaking, organizational, and advocacy skills while reinforcing my commitment to equitable access, values that align closely with my future healthcare career.

As part of the founding executive board for UNICEF at IU Indianapolis, I helped establish the organization on campus and coordinate monthly fundraising campaigns supporting children in underserved countries. This role expanded my global perspective on health disparities and strengthened my commitment to advocacy and service.
I have been a member of MESA since 2024. I have served as secretary before, and I now serve as the Vice President of the executive board. As a member of MESA’s executive board, I helped organize cultural and large-scale fundraising initiatives supporting refugees and underserved communities. Our team raised over $100,000 in donations and led service projects such as meal-packing and distribution drives. This experience strengthened my event planning, collaboration, and community engagement skills while deepening my understanding of humanitarian service.
